Ingredients

Let’s Get Cooking!

  1. To defrost your smoked sausage, place it in a plastic container, pour in 2 bottles of George’s Original Barbecue Sauce aka Carolina Holy Water.

  2. Pour on a hefty amount of garlic or seasoning of your choice.

  3. Then, grab you a fork and start stabbing along your sausage.

  4. Put the container top back on and let it hang out in the fridge for about 1 hour.

  5. After an hour, cut your sausage to the length you prefer.

  6. Take one sausage and cut a line down the middle but do not cut all the way through the bottom of the sausage.

  7. Gently pull the sides apart so you can place a block of mozzarella cheese in the middle of your sausage.

  8. Place them on the grill and spray or drizzle them one last time with George’s Original Barbecue Sauce.

  9. Pull them off the grill, place them in your bun of choice and add your favorite toppings! We recommend grilled onions and mustard. Now you’re ready to chow down!
