Dreamy Creamy George’s Peanut Sauce


4 Tbsp George’s Hot BBQ Sauce

½ tsp fine grated fresh ginger root

1 tsp garlic paste

½ c. creamy peanut butter

Juice of ½ lime

2 Tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp dark brown sugar

2 Tbsp chopped salted peanuts  (We use Aunt Ruby’s) http://www.auntrubyspeanuts.com/



Mix together ingredients and heat on stove top until thoroughly combined and smooth.

This recipe is good over chicken with rice.

Blueberry BBQ Sauce

This is a sweet and savory sauce that is great on grilled chicken, pork or fish. It’s simple and quick to make, and can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for up to about 2 weeks. 

Makes about 1 pint.

2       cups           fresh or frozen blueberries
1       cup            George’s Special Sauce
½      cup            balsamic vinegar
several sprigs     fresh thyme (or about 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
½      cup            local honey

Put the berries, bbq sauce, vinegar and thyme into heavy bottomed sauce pot. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to slow boil, stirring frequently. Cook until the berries have popped and the sauce has cooked down and thickened. Whisk in honey.

Serving suggestions: Over grilled pork, chicken or fish steaks like salmon or tuna.

George’s 1000 Island EVERYthang Sauce!

This sauce can be created in less than 5 minutes… and can be used in all sorts of ways! Make turkey, chicken or traditional Reubens and drizzle on them… dress salads, or use as a fish and seafood sauce like tarter sauce! Grab some of this and use as a sandwich spread instead of mayonnaise too. It’s even good to add blue cheese for those who love that for a Blue Island Dress’n. This little jar of goodness will keep quite a while in your fridge too… let your imagination run wild!

1          cup     Duke’s mayonnaise
½         cup     George’s Special Sauce
2          T.        Georges Original Sauce
¼         cup     sweet pickle cubes or relish
1          t.         garlic powder
1          t.         onion powder
1          t.         paprika
pinch              salt
a few shakes black pepper

Combine all in pint jar, cover and shake that thang!
